A distinctive end grain cutting board acknowledging the premier status of Walnut as a wood of quality, accentuated with strips of Maple,.
Each of the woods used in this board has its own character and charm.
Walnut is the classic wood for any quality woodworking project. Rich in it’s depth and colour this wood simply exudes quality and is used in almost every one of our wooden pieces.
Maple is a hard wearing, tough wood with a colour range from nearly white, to an off-white cream colour, and sometimes can be found with a reddish or golden hue when finished with oil. A tremendous wood for offsetting the deeper colours in the other hardwoods we use in the workshop.
